Automatic reminders

Reduce no-shows with WhatsApp reminders that send themselves before every appointment.

No-shows are lost money. Automatic reminders over WhatsApp notify the patient before their appointment, without anyone having to type a thing.

How they work

When an appointment is scheduled and the patient has a valid WhatsApp number, the system sends a reminder the day before (and, depending on your settings, a few hours before too). The patient can confirm or ask to reschedule by replying.

What you need

  • WhatsApp connected (see WhatsApp AI bot).
  • A phone number on the patient's record.
  • The appointment in Scheduled status.

Customize the message

You can adjust the reminder text from your message templates so it uses your clinic's tone and name. See Templates & messages.

Recommendations

  • Always ask for the patient's WhatsApp when registering them.
  • Make sure your hours are correct: the reminder uses the appointment time.
  • Combine reminders with reactivation campaigns for those who didn't show.
