Lab calendar

The Lab calendar is the lab's own calendar with its dentist clients: pickups, deliveries, try-ins and imaging studies. These are not patient appointments, and they're kept separate on purpose: mixing them would contaminate the availability the AI Agent uses to book at the clinic.

The Lab role and the Admin can see it, and only inside the 🧪 Lab workspace (switched with the toggle in the top bar). Available on every plan.

View the calendar

At the top you have the Day, 3 days, Week and Month views, and the ‹ today › controls to move around. Events with no time are grouped in the all day strip above the grid.

In month view each day shows a few colored dots and then a "+N"; click to drop down to its grid.

Create an event

1. Press ＋ Event, or click straight onto an empty slot in the grid: that pre-fills the day and time.
2. Fill in the Date and the Client (dentist / clinic) — both are required.
3. The Time is optional: leave it blank if it's "sometime during the day".
4. Choose the Type: 🩻 Imaging study, 📥 Pickup, 📦 Delivery, 🦷 Try-in or 📌 Other.
5. If it belongs to a case, enter its Order folio (for example OL-2026-0001). It's checked against real orders: a made-up folio won't save.
6. Add a Phone and Notes if needed, and press Create.

To change it, click the card and press Save.

Notes and limits

• It deliberately doesn't warn about overlaps. Two events at the same time share the width: the lab decides its own overlaps.
• When a client books over WhatsApp, their event lands on this same calendar, signed as Lab bot. There it does have limits: it respects the configured hours, doesn't accept Sundays and caps at three per hour.
• The folio can stop showing without anyone having touched the event. The link to the order is checked every time it's read: if the order becomes an incident or is withdrawn, the folio is hidden. The event is still complete; what disappears is the data borrowed from the order.
• Today there's no button to mark an event as done or to delete it. It's reported. In the meantime, the menu counter — which counts today's events without a check mark — can't be brought down from this screen.
• The view you choose is remembered in that browser, not in your account.
