Dashboard alerts

When you open the Dashboard you'll see a strip of cards at the top with whatever needs attention: each card carries a number, a label and a click that takes you straight to the screen where it gets resolved. It's your to-do list for the day, always in sight.

Available on every plan. Each role sees only what it can resolve.

What it shows

Depending on your role, you'll see some of these cards (the ones at zero don't appear):

• Open protocols — welcome check-ins left half done → takes you to the dashboard.
• Pending progress notes — appointments seen this week with no note → takes you to Appointments.
• Appointments with no outcome — past appointments still marked "scheduled" → takes you to Appointments.
• Appointments with no note — today's no-shows/cancellations without an appointment note → takes you to Day close.
• Stalled treatments — the summary from Follow-up.

Front desk sees protocols, outcomes, appointment notes and stalled treatments. Doctors and assistants see progress notes and stalled treatments. The admin sees them all.

How to use it

There's nothing to mark as read: it's a live reflection of other screens. A card disappears on its own when you resolve its cause over there (you book the appointment, write the note, sign the appointment note). The Dashboard menu carries a counter with the total pending.

If a card shows 200+, it's because that list is capped at 200, just like the screen it takes you to.

Notes

• It stores nothing and changes no data: it only counts what the rest of the system already calculates. Who handled what stays signed on each source screen.
• If everything is up to date, you'll see "✅ All clear: nothing pending."
• Careful: the "Inbox" menu in the sidebar is the WhatsApp message inbox, not this alert strip (which lives at the top of the dashboard, with no menu of its own).
