Online booking (widget)

The booking widget is a public page for your clinic where a patient picks a treatment, a day and a time, leaves their name and WhatsApp number, and their appointment lands straight on your calendar. It lives on your own subdomain, at /agendar, and can be embedded inside the clinic's website.

It uses the same availability engine as the AI Agent, so it respects your hours, your operatories and your calendar blocks.

Today it's turned on by the SystemDental team. There isn't yet a screen in the dashboard to enable it or to choose which treatments can be booked online: write to us and we'll set it up.

What the patient sees

Three steps: What do you need? (the treatments you authorized, with their duration), Pick a day (the first days with an opening and their times are offered) and Your details (full name and a 10-digit WhatsApp number). On confirming, they get the notice over WhatsApp using your clinic's confirmation template.

How to put it on your site

You can link to it directly or embed it in a page. To embed it, your site's domain has to be authorized first, or the browser will block the frame; tell us which one it is and we'll configure it.

The safeguards it comes with

• Only the treatments you authorized can be booked. Any other is rejected.
• It respects your hours, your closed days, each day's operatory capacity and your calendar blocks.
• It doesn't offer times that have already passed today, and the appointment has to fit in full according to the treatment's duration.
• If two patients pick the same time, the second one gets "That slot has just been taken. Please pick another" and is offered the next opening.
• It comes with a bot check and a cap on attempts per connection.

Worth knowing

• The appointment is created with no doctor assigned: availability counts operatories, not doctors. Someone at the front desk has to assign one.
• On the calendar these appointments are labeled 👤 Web widget, so they aren't confused with the AI Agent's.
• The patient can't cancel or reschedule from the widget, nor choose a doctor, nor pay.
• There's no duplicate-appointment check per patient today: someone could book twice. It's worth reviewing the next day's calendar.
• If the patient is new, they're recorded with source Website, which then shows up in Analytics.
